Chaffee Democrats Big Tent BBQ 2018

Our inaugural Big Tent BBQ was a smashing success, and featured great food, our candidates, and entertainment by the talented Salida Circus. I want to thank everyone who attended and the all the volunteers who contributed so much to make it happen. It was an important fundraiser for the Chaffee County Democratic Party in this crucial mid term election year. Everyone was able to hear from and meet our Chaffee County, State, and Congressional Democratic candidates who gave inspiring and compelling speeches. Our well qualified candidates and their teams are working hard but they need your support. Volunteer today!

Senator Kerry Donovan Endorsed by Sierra Club & Conservation Colorado

The campaign trail is pretty exhausting. Between Friday and Sunday we drove about 575 miles and knocked doors in three counties. But when you run into someone at the door that remembers you from the 2014 campaign, or get endorsed by partners you admire, the miles don’t seem as long.

I am proud to be endorsed by both the Sierra Club and Conservation Colorado.

I hope I can earn your support too.

Our public lands are the centerpiece of our quality of life and are the economic engine of many communities across Senate District 5. Protecting these lands, and the environment they encompass, is going to take a lot of work and I am so glad to be part of the team dedicated to our streams, mountains, plains, lakes, canyons, and meadows that create the landscapes we love.

contribution to my campaign will help to reach out to voters across the seven counties I represent. And with unknown attacks waiting from Secretary Zinke, we must have electeds at the state level that will keep our public lands in public hands.

Thank you for your support,
